Tentative Program, Fall Term 2024

Tentative Program, Spring Term 2025

The school offers learning opportunities for all ages and a wonderful community where we can cherish our Finnish roots and heritage. We organize in-person and virtual activities for children, a music class and playgroup for children under 4, and adult courses.

The school year will begin with a picnic at Woodbine Beach in the beginning of September. The school year will run until June.

IN-PERSON CLASSES AND SATURDAY CLUBS FOR STUDENTS AGED 4 TO 18

The school activities are versatile and many, and the tuition fee covers the whole program. Friday classes are usually organized twice a month from 6–8 pm. Saturday Clubs typically run on the last Saturday of the month from 10 am - 1 pm. Classes are held at Agricola Finnish Lutheran Church, 25 Old York Mills Rd, North York, Toronto.

We also invite our students and their families to various school celebrations, field trips and events. Students also have access to the school library.

Most students are learning at the beginner level, and prior knowledge of Finnish is not required. We form groups based on age and language levels. At the beginner level, Finnish is taught through English.

The full program - with Fridays classes, monthly Saturday Clubs, and all community events, the school fee is $275. Children must be 4+ (turning 4 before the end of 2024).
